Mr. Yang said that  Samir Khreino is not only a writer but a political researcher, thinker and dear friend referring to his previous book issued in 2009 entitled ‘The Arabs and the Future of China’ which won a number of awards and was translated into Chinese and English.

Meanwhile, Khreino gave a brief about the book tackling the reasons behind the rise of the Chinese Dragon and the factors that assisted China in its successful catching up with the world’s most advanced economies, in addition to the industrial and technological development that led China to become an Economic Giant.

Khreino said that the book highlights the lessons the Arabs could learn from China’s experience in development despite the absence of democracy in China, which had never hindered its progress, calling for a ‘Civilization Companionship/ Modern Partnership’ between the Arabs and China to bridge the technological gap with the world.

At the end of the ceremony, Khreino signed copies of his new book for the attendees.
